# How do I connect an app to Viora?

Connect an app when you want the Viora Agent to work with information or actions in that service. You choose which account to authorize and review the permissions requested by the provider. These steps apply to integrations that require an external service account.

**Computer Use** has a separate flow: its switch enables local computer access and may ask you to complete macOS permissions. It does not use the external-account sign-in steps below.

## Connect an integration

1. Open **Apps** in the Viora desktop app.
2. Find the integration card and turn on its switch to start connecting.
3. In the browser, sign in to the external service with the account you want Viora to use.
4. Review the requested permissions and approve them if you want to continue.
5. Complete the browser flow and allow it to return to Viora.
6. Check the connection status in **Apps** before starting a task.

## Use a connected app

Start an [Agent request](/en/articles/10000005-dictation-and-agent) and explain what you want to do. Name the service and provide the details needed to find the right information or complete the action.

For example, after connecting a calendar service, ask Viora to check your upcoming meetings. For an action such as creating an event, include its title, date, time, and attendees. Available actions depend on the integration and the permissions you granted.

## Authorization finished, but the app is not connected

Return to Viora and reopen **Apps** to check the status. The provider may take a moment to report a new connection.

If it still appears disconnected, start the connect flow again from **Apps** and complete every browser step. Check that you authorized the intended service account. If your organization restricts third-party apps, you may need an administrator to allow the requested access.

If the problem continues, [contact Viora support](https://viora.io/contact) with the integration name and error message. Do not send access tokens or authorization links.

## Disconnect an app

Turn off the integration’s switch in **Apps** to disconnect it. Viora will need a new connection before it can use that integration again.

If you also want to review or revoke permissions held by the provider, open the external service's connected-app or security settings.
